I think the outlook is bright for multifamily. Even though interest rates are up, home prices are still very high in many parts of the country. And that means people who can't afford a mortgage would have to rent.
I believe industrial properties, particularly warehouses and distribution centers, will be in demand. The ecommerce trend isn't over, and online vendors need warehouses and distribution centers to get their products to consumers.
Forgot to add, if you are looking for the ultimate hedge, buy farmland. Whether you are looking at the next 5 years or the next 500 years, people will always need to eat.
